In this protocol you will find the course of a grant application at the Fundatie van de Vrijvrouwe van Renswoude Utrecht (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Fundatie’). For information about processing the personal data see the privacy declaration.
The applicant sends a PDF document with all required documents (merged into one document), as described on the website under ‘how to apply’ to studiebeurs@fvru.nl.
An application is rejected directly if it does not meet the conditions for a grant application. The other applications will be processed by the grant committee of the Fundatie. A positive assessment is followed by an invitation by email for an interview at the Fundatie in Utrecht.
Following the interview, the grant committee takes a final decision on the application. The applicant will be informed of the outcome by email within one week. In the case of a successful application he or she will also receive a formal grant letter. In this letter the applicant finds information about the amount of the scholarship, the number of instalments in which the grant will be paid and the points of time when that will happen.
At the end of the academic year, in September, the grant committee welcomes all students who received a grant, the so called élèves. On this élève day members of the committee have a personal meeting with the élèves about the progress of the study and to discuss any new applications. Presence is mandatory.
